Bernadette Morgan is demanding better for Gordano Valley this May
Use your vote to get a better deal for our area
Bernadette Morgan, the local champion working hard for our villages in the Gordano Valley
Bernadette Morgan was born and raised in Clevedon and has lived in Clapton-in-Gordano for nearly 25 years. Bernadette cares deeply about our area and is campaigning for improvements to roads, and for the Portishead & Pill railway link.
Bernadette raised her family in our area. Her children were all educated at Gordano School, and she is involved with the local community. Bernadette wants to make our villages suitable for residents - particularly the elderly and young families - by improving local transport links, campaigning for better play equipment and parks, and supporting our local schools.
Along with the Lib Dem team in Gordano Valley, Bernadette wants to represent our area and get a better deal for the people here. She will fight to protect our villages, our environment, and will stand up for you on the council. Bernadette will use her experience as a previous small business owner, and her deep knowledge of our area to get the best possible deal for local people.
Elections here in Gordano Valley are always close between the hard working Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives. Vote for local Lib Dem Bernadette Morgan on Thursday 4th May.
Bernadette's plan for Our Area:
INVEST IN OUR COMMUNITIES
Bernadette is keen to see more investment in our villages. New village halls, and improvements to existing ones, should be a priority. Important local services should be protected from cuts to funding.
PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT
We live in a beautiful area and it is vital that we protect it. Any new developments should be suitable for the village they are planned for and infrastructure must be improved alongside them.
PORTISHEAD RAILWAY LINK
Linking Portishead and Pill to Bristol with a railway would reduce congestion and improve air quality. We have secured the future of this project and will keep up the pressure to get work started.
