Sue's Plan For Our Area
HELP AND SUPPORT FOR THE HIGH STREET AND THE TOWN
I am concerned about the loss of local services such as the Post Office and empty shops, particularly in the town centre, and want to see more investment in our High Street and West Hill.
BETTER PUBLIC TRANSPORT
We need to get the new Portishead Railway back on track and ensure better facilities for our new station. I also want to see better bus services into the town and bevond (Cribbs Causewav, Bristol, and Weston), maintaining connections to the Police HQ and for residents on Nore Road and Down Road.
INVEST IN PARKS AND GREEN SPACES
I welcome the recent Lake Grounds investment but more needs to be done. If elected I will use my position to campaign for more money to improve our local parks, such as Nightingale Rise and Merlin Park, and to protect our green spaces, especially in and around Weston Big Wood.
