Lib Dems win big in local elections
Liberal Democrats gained 407 councillors and control of 12 councils in England, giving us our best result in decades.
For years we've been taken for granted by our local Conservative MP Liam Fox, now he fears for his job and he's running scared. Labour can't win here, and their candidate doesn't even live or work in North Somerset.
Your choice is for more of the same with Liam Fox and Conservatives, a non-local canidate who doesn't know the issues with Sadik Al-Hassan and the Labour Party, or a local and experienced local champion with Ash Cartman and the Liberal Democrats.
The Lib Dems have been winning across Somerset and the West Country, the Lib Dems can beat Liam Fox here in North Somerset. Last time our vote almost doubled. This time we can win. However we vote here in North Somerset we all know that Kier Starmer will be Prime Minsiter on 5th July. That frees us to make a different choice here, vote local not national. Vote for Ash.
Find out more about our candidate Ash Cartman. Ash has lived here with his family for over 15 years, spent 5 years as one of your North Somerset Councillors figthing for the things you care about, and now wants to fight for you in Westminster.
